Subdolus dives in after the trapped fighter. His first objecive is to reach him so he can use his scimitars healing ability on him. His second is to make chowder out of the clam. If diving into the mud isn't possible he will try to send his rope in after him.

Tiberious will attack any of the frogs that are attacking him, if he killed those, he will then throw both axes at the creature attacking Cadelin, hoping to kill it before it can further harm the magic user.

Subdolus turns his back on the 3 bullywugs on him to save Calhagan from completely disappearing into the muck forever (even if he were to survive he would be trapped in the muck and likely drown). The 3 frogmen get free attacks. One hits with its shortsword sticking it into the thiefs thigh for 5 pts damage. The thief squeezes into the mucky hole left behind by the retreating clam and commands his rope to tie around the heat signature of Calhagan 10 feet ahead (trying to be sure not to attach around his head, but shoulder instead). Cal suddenly feels something wrap around the top portion of his body. Subdolus commands the other end of the rope to attach around a near by pillar (by chance theres one less then 8 feet away). This stops the clam who pulls with amazing force to no avail. Cal is still 15 feet inside a mud tunnel that is quickly collapsing. Subdolus manages to pop back out of it before it does.
Cadellin fires 4 magic missiles at the blindheim. Unable to look directly at the creature without being blinded, one missile goes astray and hits the water. The other 3 blast into its sickly yellowish green skin, doing 13 pts. damage.
Tiberious misses with one axe, but hits with the other killing another on him (2 remain). Zargon swings again at the giant clam on him. Unfortunately the clam pulls its tounge back before he can chop at it and must attack the shell instead. Again his attack fails to even crack it. Sog rushes over to Cadellin this round but is blocked by a bullywog from reaching him. The cleric swings and hits killing it in a single blow. Next round he can help the yellow wizard.
Cal hits the giant clam stuck to him for 14 total (incl. electrical). The thing unable to pull you in further continues to chomp.
Subdolus's Shambling Mound (OOC: Stranger, wasn't that called the Spanish Moss Monster?) manages to kill another 2 believing bullywog. The Blindheim on the island crokes commanding the 7 that still remain to return to the island, no match for the shambling mound. This causes the shambling mound to start following!
Monser counter: The blindheim on Cadellin attacks the real him and bites for 6 pts damage (he's down a total of 19 pts).
The clam on Cal does another 6 pts damage. The water and muck filled tunnel begins to collapse, and you take 6 more pts damage from breathing in muck as you begin to drown (what air you had in your lungs is pushed out by the crushing force (think Jaws and Quint). Also, its pitch dark in here.
One Bullywug on Tiberious hits for 5 pts, and two on Subdolus hit for 9 total (so he's down 18 total).
The giant clam on Zargon finally hits him. Good God you've never seen anything like it. The 6 foot fighter is completely engulfed by the giant clam (only his feet stick out). A loud crunching and sucking can be heard. Zargon takes 9 pts damage. The group won't be able to reach the soft interior.
Init: Group 3 Monsters 1, you guys are up.

Seeing he can't reach Cal if he is dead Subdolus uses his scimitars healing ability on himself then attacks the nearest frog creature.
OOC: The spanish moss monster or "Paramafait"- cajun boogyman.

Tiberious will attack one of the frogs on him with magic axe and will throw the other at the creature standing over the magic user. (Hopefully its back is to the monk)

The old wizard drops to into the water face down, and will drown if not helped! Tiberious hits with one of his axes (sticking into its side for 10 total), the Blindheim turns prepared to hit the monk in the eyes with its blinding light. Sog reaches Cadellin and turns him over healing him for 2 pts. The wizard's eyes flicker and then open seeing his old friend looking down very worried. Subdolus, unable to do more for Cal, heals himself for 13 and then attacks the giant clam that has engulfed Zargon. His scimitar somehow manages to break threw the shell and cut into muscle below inflicting 8 pts.
Calhagan now in a colapsing tunnel plunges black sword deep into the thick muscle.....the sharp crack and familiar sizzle from the electrical jolt lets him know major damage is being inflicted. The beast releases the fighter who begins to pull himself out of the muck thanks to Subdolus's magical elven rope (which also begins to curl around the column, itself seeming to want to extrude the fighter, an unusal elvish rope....indeed.
Ermanaric must also attempt to penetrate the hard shell of the second clam. With a mighty swing his sword crushes threw the shell and slices deeply into the beast (luckily he manages to avoid hitting his friend trapped within). The sword inflicts 19 pts damage, a mighty blow!
Zargon struggles to free himself but fails to manage to break its tight grip.
When the shambling mound illusion reaches the island, it seems the Blindhiem doesn't fall for it (save 18), his powerful beam eyes are opened upon it showing threw the creature, he then jumps threw it, proving it fake. This time, only two fail, and the rest are commanded to rush the group.
Counter: Zargon takes 7 pts crushing damage. The clam fires a massive jet of water at Sub and Erm, both fail to save and get blasted off their feet, falling into the water (they are out next round).
The blindheim hits Tiberious in the eyes as it jumps toward him (save 2). The monk is blinded for the time. Luckily his White Dragon training kicks in and he hears the movements of the creature. and blocks a bite toward his face (Keeehiiii!)
Cal manages to pull himself out of the mud tunnel (now totally colapsed. It takes all of his strength (he'll need cough and gag for 3 turns before he can stand and fight again). He also takes another 12 pts damage from drowning, having swallowed mud and water into his lungs. But this is the last damage he will take from this.
Initiative: monsters 6 group 6 simo. You guys go first.
The giant clam is crushing and sucking out Zargon's juices (slurp slurp). A blindheim has blinded Tiberious and attempt to kill the monk. Many bullywugs are heading your way as well (not to mention those that still are alive).

I'm not clear on your houserules here, Axe. I think that because I have positive hp again, I can clear out the incoming bad guys with rapid-fire lightning bolts.
Am I right? Cos if so, ka-blam.

Correct, you can blast away (if your healed your healed, no resting is required). This often works to the badguys favor as well, so I don't see it as unfair. Do you want to hit the blindheim on the island as well (its 40 feet, so I think thats in range)?

Tiberious will use his hearing "black bat" fighting skills to hit the blindheim with both handaxes.

Both of Tiberious's blows miss, despite his black bat fighting techniques!
Subdolus and Ermanaric get back to their feet winded by the high preasure water, they will be able to attack next round.
Sog heals Cadellin for another 6 pts. While the Yellow Wizard, a bit pissed for almost being killed lets loose a deadly lighting bolt. WIth a huge CRRRACKKK and a bright flash of blue that lights the entire chamber a deadly bolt shoots forth and kills 15 hopping and swiming bullywugs only moments away from him. The bolt also continues on to the island (which was in the direct line of fire) and hits the Blindheim! Incredibly the Blindheim (saving with a 20) jumps clear of most of the blast, but still sizzles. The island, on the otherhand, takes a full hit. The scores of giant mushrooms blow apart in all directions, many of them exploding with spores from their gills (which might have been deadly or had some other effect to you). But due to the range they fall to the water without causing harm. Whats left when the smoke clears is the island with a 10 foot wide gap in it reaching to the water line (as if it were split in two). Within a few seconds you can smell the sizzling bullywug and cooked mushrooms...dammned if it doesn't smell delicious, just like some exquisite frog leg and mushroom soup you had many years ago at a travellers lodge....the wish to recollect is haulted with the realization that Zargon is on his way to becoming a pancake. Also, one more Blindheim is on the island still, and Tibeirous is fighting another (badly injured one).
Monsters: The Clam begins to move back toward the mud rapidly with a huge whoosh of water. Within, Zargon is squeezed for another 8 pts damage. Tiberious is bitten by the blindheim on his upper thigh for 4 more points of damage. The evil creature is bent on killing you.
Init: Monsters 6 group 2. Tiberious blocks another attack, this time his black bat training kicking in. Zargon's clam reaches the muck wall and starts digging in. He is squeezed for another 6 pts. Sog and Cadellin see the Blindheim still on the island disappear into a 5 foot opening (or passage) exposed when the lightning bolt ripped threw the island. It seems the entire inside of the island was honey combed with passages leading down below the water level. The passages are cut from some sort of thick hard fiberious material. Ahha! the Yellow Wizard thinks, that fiber is composed of the roots of mushrooms, a huge ancient colony of fungus that likely penetrates the earth and stone below it. There's no telling what that blindheim is up to or how deep that fungus reaches.
What does everyone wish to do (Zargon is seconds from disappearing into the wall)?
