OOC: TRP, Actually you guys already returned with the princess. So the entire group is together at this point. As I have it layed out, Cain the monk is mid way near the back wall of the room, Ermaniric is about 10 feet in front of him, Subdolus is hidden in shadow quietly sneaking up from behind utilizing his "special" boots, and the rest of the group is in the center of the group around the wagon (having just hidden the princess under some debree.
Smythus seems to be backing up toward his stall again; Ruinbottle is cooking back in the central stall.

Cadellin, who knows that the monk will be immune to slow, will charm him.

OOC: (Cool! Here goes nothing) The monk is not surprised and initiative is rolled. Group 5, monk 5 simo. The monk lifts up his hand and carelessly tosses the vial mock frowning and says "ooopppsss, how carelesss of me". Subdolus who is only 6 feet back, I'll assume (to save time), wants to try and cetch this utterly strange vial before it hits the ground. A risky move on his part! (BTW Subs the only one close enough to even attempt this). Subdolus dives to the ground with his arms outstretched to cetch it. He roles an 18 and easily does so, spoiling Cain's big plan. The monk looks down shocked! Cadellin gets off his charm person spell, and the monk roles a 6. Unfort. for him, he's not yet high enough for the natural resistance to charm. The monk looks surprised "Masssta, why are you with thezzzzzzze men? They want to harm me, they want to foil my plans!" The monk starts to back up as if preparing to flee, but awaits guidance from Cadellin before acting.

"Nobody hurt anybody!" says Cadellin sharply. Turning to his new friend, he says more softly: "There is nothing to fear, they will not harm you now. What plan do you have, exactly?"

The lanky fellow scurrys over and nuzzles up to the wizards feet, like a scared dog tiding to his master for protection. Glimpsing back toward the others, "I trust them not mastaaa. My misssion is offfffff the most secret sort.
Grabbing the Yellow Wizards robes, the monk drags the yellow wizard to a far corner and begins talking in low wispers. Of course Tiberious and Subdolus both listen in.
"Thizzzzzzzzzzzzz place izzz the house of the most nobel pedagogue, and keeper of the great secret. I trained here for 2 lunar cycles to study the art of poisons as a pupil, and to guard the Great Secret. As you are my closest friend I feel it safe to tell you, from the inception of the Yellow Tounge Guild over 700 years ago, each great house of our order has kept a secret within....each keeps safe a powerful sleeping Diety, a spaun of the Yellow Star. Our founding Master His Immortalness Squadenqui Pushara travelled the infinite after attaining the highest peak of understanding and after many years brought back 3 eggs. These were given to him by a goddess, Thuska The Yellow, the Mother of Worms. His meeting and study with the goddess brought true understanding to his mind and oneness with infinity. Besides his development of great mental powers, he infused in our sacred martial arts what he learned in his meditations, "the way of the worm", a complex 13 part kata that takes 3 days to complete ...that is why the Student of the Yellow Tounge cannot be beat truely in combat.
The eggs were brought back to our world to hatch her children who would teach us and eventually rule this realm. The masters of his order hatched them and kept them safe, a process that takes over a century to complete. But before the old masters new what to do The immortal one left us to join the stars, when the sacred eggs hatched, the grubs needed the milk of the mother Goddess. Such milk was unknown to this realm, and the closest elixir to substitute for the mother Goddess was that found in the plenteous swollen breasts of mothering Frost Giantesses of the family of Scizzle. That family developed a relationship with our guild and they alone supply the milk needed to raise the spawn of the Yellow Tounge for 50 years until they can be removed from the breast and brought to our temples where the masters commune with them and utilizzze their amazing powers of mental domination. They are mated with other spawn every 10 years and 1 egg is collected. This location was the home of a giantess related to one of the original 7 sisters of the family of Scizzle. The Master of the Tounge was training the beast and assisting with the sacred feedings when your group happened by. Now the child diety is loose and hungry. It will seek out intelligent beings and feed upon their mental energy, sucking it out before eating their marrow. This will only satiate the Sacred One for a short while. The ring that your group found allows its user to command the beast into submission...if they know how. Our Grand Master detected the spawn was loose and sent me to investigate find it and put it to sleep in a place of safety until a new breeder can be found. To do that I need the ring. The vial I possessed contained the milk of an adult worm. Unfortunately it is so intense that it will kill its offspring if eaten in large doses. However a small dose spilt will send it coming. The Sacred One moves in the eatherial you see, so the smell can pass through rock and wall.
I know you will allow me to complete my mission, as I was told to do so or be killed a thousand deaths.
Of this kidnapping of the princess and prince. My master knows of it, and he knows who is behind it, but that information was not granted to one such as unworthy as me. "
The bald monk takes out more spores from the fins of his mushroom and snorts, he then offers his mushroom up so that you may snort with him....a sign of respect no doubt.
With a loving, almost suductive eye, Cain says "I like your robe" and starts rubbing it between his fingers. "I am a master of massage, and could bring you to know inner piece". The bald monk smiles broudly and in his loose robes attempts to position himself to start messaging your tired neck muscles.

"Thank you, my friend," says Cadellin, gently disentangling himself from the monk's fingers. "Do you know how this ring is operated?"

Tiberious (invisible) smiles as the wizard tries to avoid the backrub and listens to what the monk says about using the ring.

"Why massstaaa do you denie yourselffffffffffff the simple pleasures of the flesh?"
Looking a bit put off but still tenderly at the magician, Cains states: "The ring is one of the original 6 made from the essense of the Mothers eggs after the original children hatched. Simply concentrate when it is on in the presence of the worm and they will obey. Over the generations of breeding the Frost Giantesses milk has made them more violent and less intellegent, so the rings are sometimes needed to control them. However, once used the worm will never trust that monk again. Yesssssssssssss only concentrate when it is near you and command it. Itsssss a form of ESP my masters say...something I wouldn't understand completely. Though it calms the worm it will not allow you to use it for your own means. Remember always, they are the masters of all of us. One day an intellegent one like the mother will be born with all of its powers, and it will be unleashed upon the world. "
"After the worm is put to sleep, I must return with the ring to my masters in Grime. Will you accompany me my flower petal".

Calhagn busies himself by tending to his wounded horse. Otherwise, he'd be bound to bust out laughing, which would likely be a distraction to the wizard's .. ummm .. delicate .. inquisition.

Smythus wonders over to the main group "I...I'm sorry for having confided too much to this strange Monk. I suppose I was a bit fooled with his high praise of my church and of my good reputation with his guild in general. Though many suppose the Yellow Tounges are all wicked, it is said some have payed great sums of gold and done honorable tasks in support of the merchant guild which thrives along the great coast. I believe those in Grime are of that sort. Those at this dungeon may belong to another house, perhaps only faintly associated with those in Grime.

Ruinbottle, finished for the moment with cooking returns to his lookout post near the entrance. He quickly returns to the main group, "Beggin me pardon gents, but there is another half frozen man on horse back examining the burnt out bridge. Perhaps we should open a inn here, myself as head chief! Do one of you know him"?
Cadellin continues to dodge the warm gentle messaging hands of Cain, to the great entertainment of the rest of the group.
Ruinbottles interruption quickly sobers the situation however, something The Yellow Wizard is glad of "I muzst protect you mazstaaaa" says the thin bald yellow toung monk (jumping in front of you to block any incoming missiles).
What would the rest of the group like to do?

Calhagn, wondering if any others of his group survived, will checkout the frozen stranger. If he can do so w/o being seen himself, then so much the better.

Subdolus recommends that Sogathan might want to put on his crown. He then heads to the drawbridge while keeping to the shadows.

Subdolus MS and HIS with no problem and sees a human in plate sitting atop a war horse, both half frozen. About 100 feet behind this rider is a small poney in deep snow ridden by what appears to be a gnome wearing a rich black cape and even from here you can see the glint of a ruby ring he wears. A pretty copper you think.
Sog uses the crown and only gets a few thoughts (thirst, hunger, freezing to death, preparing to slay any creature that comes out, how the hell to get into the keep..and then the crown fizzles out.... Apparently its been used to much recently with Cain and Smythus. He'll need to wait at least an hour before attempting it again.
Calhagn moves up behind the others and peeks out, he does not recognize this man, who carries a two handed sword and short bow both at the ready.
Do you wish to make contact?
