"I believe the river route is best. We should however go as a whole party, with the princess. Dividing our forces just makes us more vulnerable. Leaving Tiberius behind to spy is a good idea, though. The rest of the party should go in the boat."
"I think we should try to rejoin the princess here, we wouldn't have to protect 2 separate parts on the journey home and the princess would be harder to harm if she could move from danger under her own power. "

If no one disagrees (today) I'll assume you follow Fletcher's advice: starting with attempting to combine the 2 parts of the princess, and then sticking the boat in and heading down the river (just to keep things moving along).
Tiberious, do you have a way of healing damage by yourself (I thought you used up your last heal)?

Tiberious does not have any way to heal himself besides natural rest.
Perhaps someone could lend him a potion or two for healing purposes. He would return the potions when he returned to the main party.
Tiberious' plan is to use his dagger to fly and attempt to meet up with the party after spending a day or two trying to gleam any further information.
He will also speak with the party (excluding the two dwarves and the half-orc) concerning locations (such as bars in Grime, etc.) where Tiberious could leave a message for other party members to find him and vice versa. (He hopes to meet up with them on day 3 of the boat ride though.)
If noone can spare a healing potion, Tiberious will scrap his spying plan and accompany the group back to the city.

OOC: no ones stepping up just yet SKA, I'll wait till tonight and see, otherwise your with the group. Since no one objected, I'll assume the party attempts to unite the princess parts.
The group returns to the hidden elf quarters off the giantess kitchen being careful to close the secret entrance behind them. After some considerable rest prayer and thought Sogathan places the 2 parts together. Nothing happens until they touch. At that moment the crystal encasing the princess suddenly turns into a silvery mist which fills much of the room before disipating into the ground. Lying in front of you is the still body of the princess. The soul seems desperate to get out of the magic jar and after a few moments the side of the magical lamp swings open and the light flickers out disappearing. A few seconds later and the princess stirs. Her eyes blink revealing bright clear blue...and her lifeless face moves forming a weak smile revealing a stunning beauty with a look that could cut threw the strongest armor of the bravest knight. After looking at each persons face she says "where am I", the last thing I remember was being in my dressing room at the castle and then passing out. I don't recall what happened after that.... but I remember having many terrible dreams (her face screws up) but they are quickly fading...she throws up. Zargon is taken aback in particular and helps the princess to her feet giving her some water. The Half Orc also looks mezmerized licking his lips. You can see why Smythus was obsessed!
How do you guys want to prepare for the boat ride down. Do you keep your armor on? Do you want to take something to float on incase the boat capsizes? anything else?

OOC: I can heal Tiberious.
As to flotation, I suggest two or three of our former enemies with us tied to them might serve in case of emergencies.

OOC: Oh, everyones back to normal HPs. SKA was wondering if anyone had a spare healing potion to leave behind with him incase his spying goes badly. He wants to hang out at the dungeon by himself and fly back to the city. SKA remember it will still take you a good while to get back to the coast. Your not a jet fighter (your dagger has a limited speed, time and uses per day).

Zargon stammers, at first, then speaks more clearly, to the princess. "I am here to serve you, lady. I am Zargon. I will make sure no more harm comes to you, even should it cost me my life." He bows to her, then watches to make sure the group is still safe for the moment. He ignores the planning discussion going on around him, instead focusing all his attention on the princess.

OOC: In case you didn't realize, I started another thread (returning to Grime -the city the adventure began in).
The princess seems to look longer into your eyes then the others. It seems your honest and simple way complements her intellectualism (as she is as bright as she is beautiful). This surprises some of the group who take notice and seems to anger the half orc cleric who grunts and walks off.
