Since Sydney isn't guiding the group anymore you need to name a caller. He is responsible for posting which direction the party is travelling in and for how long. The caller will, of course, reach a consensus among the party before he posts, but once he does, there are no tapbacks.

I suggest a caller rota.
Do it in alphabetical order (by character name), 1 RL week per character, until everyone's had a turn. Then we can figure out which of us would be the optimum choice.

I don't want to overstep bounds. Who is the next Caller and when does their gig start?

Instead of rotating callers why not take voulnteers among the players that are on several times a day.

If you want to keep a roating caller that is fine with me, but you need somone to be caller. Darian is next in the alphabet.

I will be at my girlfriend's house this weekend, so I can check the boards at least once or twice over the weekend to make a call.
If our scouts are searching the room, do I need to make any call? Or can they call their own actions, and I am only needed once the group is ready to move?

We only need to a caller when the group has to act together. So if people want to act individually they can while the caller is not around.

Can I pass caller onto the next person in line? I called for today, but I don't feel confident having the responsibilty when I am not 100% SURE of being able to post. We're getting bad snow here, and I don't want to be forced to stay home from work and not be able to post.
Thanks
