Gerto nods in agreement. Let's get everyone positioned at the door, have the thieves check it out, then burst through in the same order as our marching order.

"Be wary of traps, they may be waiting for us to return" Finrod wispers.

Krago will look over the door for wires or other signs that the door may be trapped.

The group opens the secret door and the front rank passes through. A short (about a foot and half) ring of debris have been strung out 10 feet in front of the secret door, reaching from wall to wall. There are eight goblins currently in the room. As soon as they see the party come through, they spring to action.

When first entering the room Darian will look to see if he can spot anyone hiding, if so, he will throw two daggers at the hiding figure.
If no hidden figures are found he will throw daggers at the nearest goblins.

Since Krago is in the front rank with Gorthahk and an acolyte ...
With shield and sword equiped, the dwarf will move forward to engage the goblins- taking extreme care not to disturb the pile of debris. "Watch me back boys!"

Gerto moves in behind the front rank, ready to bash a goblin if he can this round. Otherwise he will wait to fill in a spot to fight or be ready to heal anyone who falls.

Finrod moves into a position behind the foward rank where he can throw 2 daggers at the nearest goblin relatively safely. He also keeps his dog at the ready beside him.

Gorthakh immediately hurls his spear at the nearest goblin, drawing his mace afterwards. He does not close to melee range; instead, he remains close to Finrod and Darian (so as to protect them).

Five of the goblins step forward and throw spears into the front. Krago, who is trying to weave through the debris, is struck twice, for seven points of damage total. The rest of the party manages to avoid hits.
The dagger volley from the second rank manages to down a goblin. Gorthack’s spear hits, but is largely deflected, doing only a point of damage. Krago finally closes and strikes down another goblin with his sword.
Like Gorthack , the acolyte stays in place to protect the second row.
One of the goblins, a youth, runs into the western passage. The remaining two goblins pull the fallen goblins back and tend to their wounds.

Krago attempts manuever such that his back is against the wall. "What 're ye wait'n fer? Get'n 'ere or O'll be in der stew pot."
OOC: Just now I realized it was a small wall, not a pile of hiding a pit trap or something. Stoopid dworf!

"Move forward and fight! I will heal Krago!" Gerto motions for more fighters to move into battle, and will push his way forward if no one will move in order to CLW on Krago.

Once he's freed his mace, Gorthakh takes a flying leap over the debris to land among the goblins. (Presumably this counts as a charge, in which case he thumps one once he arrives.)

Gorthak and Krago are unable to hit the goblins this round. Gerto is not able to cast his spell in time, and Krago is hit for 4 hit points of damage, enough to incapacitate him. Gerto's spell cures 5 points of damage, stablizing Krago. Gorthak is stabbed for 5 points of damage.
The mercenaries move up over the barricade. Sydney moves in behind Gorthak.
Another 6 orcs arrive from the western passage.

Finrod commands his dog to attack the fiend on Krago and protect his body, He then lights a flask of oil and throws it at the orcs in the front of the western passage in hopes of slowing thier progress and hopefully taking a few out with burning oil while they're still bunched, "hit them with oil" he encourages Darian.
However, if the passage entrance/orcs are out of range for the oil flask he will throw the lit flask at a goblin (or group if possible) thats in range (but not so close to a PC that they would be hit). (Finrod watches Sydney briefly when possible to see if he is in any way communicating with the orc or goblin...this might be a set-up).
