Sorry about that Semaj, forgot to role for you. OK you role a 19! inflicting 5 total (that was last round).
This round: Cal swings 2x and hits both times 13, 17. You do a total of 19 damage killing it. I'll assume Sog (who is right there) rushes in and pulls out Cadellin taking 2 pts of damage in the process (from the creatures digestive acids. The wizard is still twitching but alive (down to 2 HPs). Smythus ignites the oil (not realizing the creature would be killed by Cal) causing a thick stinky smoke, and the creature to begins to poor in his direction and clears the passage to the stairway. Terrified its still alive the old cleric trips jumping back.
Tiberious (I'll assume) throws daggers. Both hit for 10 total. Emeranic hits once for 8 total, just enough to kill the odd beast. Ripping threw with his sword Em first pulls out Zargon (who's down 8, this takes a round) and then is joined by Tiberious who frees Subdolus down 21, and Ruinbottle who is pulled out at -8. Em takes 4 pts damage and Tiberious 2 while freeing their friends. Sog, who will you heal first?

Assuming Subdolus isn't in the negative (not sure from your post), then I'll heal Ruinbottle.

After 2 heals Ruinbottle raises up holding his side, looking around he tells you to leave him alone "heal that other fellow (pointing at Sub resting against the wall, he's in far worse shape then I". Ruinbottle than stands up and waits near the entrance of the room at the bottom of the stairs not speaking and occasionaly glancing over at the party. "I'm glad everyone is alright. Lets go in there shall we?" wispers the hobbit.

Subdolus llooks over at the halfling, "My thanks for your concern but I have already been worse off than this during our journey."
Sub grasps his scimitar and concentrates on its healing ability the whole time his entire body feeling as though it were on fire.

Your sword heals you for 17 pts. Ruinbottle raises an eyebrow when you pull out the ancient scimitar, as if both surprised and impressed. Ruinbottle narrows his eyes and holds out a hand palm up toward your sword (as if feeling some sort of invisible energy as the sword works its effects), and then pulls it back quickly, glancing around a bit. "Ahhh yesss, thats an impressive little item, I will have to study that sword a bit later, eyeing it greedly. " I will go ahead and make sure their are no traps (this seems odd as Ruinbottle looks much worse then you) the rest of you stay here until I say its safe to enter". The thief gets up and darts into the room ahead of the party, not waiting for permission. Does anyone wish to follow?

Instead of following Sub walks over to Sogathan, "Something seems," he pauses for a moment, "not quite right with our little friend. Would you be willing to try your crown on him before we consider following him."

Zargon considers himself lucky (again) to only be singed just a bit by the jello creature. While the others heal themselves he watches both up and down the staircase for more of these creatures, and then remembers to check the ceiling!

Tiberious will wait to see what the ESP crown reveals before acting.

OOC: I'm going to assume Sogathan puts on the crown since thats what he normally does (and he hasn't posted).
As the party waits, Sog puts on the crown and begins probing for the halflings mind. After a few moments Sog closes his eyes and concentrates, then Suddenly the cleric drops to the floor convulsing and sweating. Subdolus, only feet away, rips the crown off of the clerics head. You wait for several minutes, shaking the cleric, and finally water on his face awakens him.
Sog indicates that he was unable to find the mind of Ruinbottle. Instead, within the halflings body dwells a horrifying evil. Something that felt black, retchid, and very cold. For a moment, Sog tells you, he was able to pick up its surface thoughts. It seems to be paniced for time. Its searching for something in books, and we interrupted it. At the moment its hiding another body of an old man, a shell it occupide before using it up. Sog tells you he then tried to dig a bit deeper, there he found repeating images so powerful they hurt his mind to read: the thoughts and images were intense and out of order, but what he got was this: Total Blackness, Intense never ending pain, giant faces of a hiddeous and twisted nature...not human, some insectoid looking peering at him, torturing him in horrid and unimaginable ways, taking great pleasure in it, screams of agony all around, multititudes of others also being tortured, then a period of blackness, followed by the sensation and pleasure of torturing others, mutilating others, and performing unmentionable acts endlessly, so horrible they would have driven Sog insane, if not from the protection of his magical elven crown. Then a bit deeper: betrayal from a lost love, a painful death from a poisoned dagger in the back....insult...and then revenge, revenge....revenge. A period of blackness followed by more memories of staring into a hidden black obsidian mirror longingly (from the deepest blackness of immerserable cold), and finally a face, a young handsome face of a blue eyed young man, the prince (or a very good likeness)! You see the image of him looking into a mirror just as you are looking into yours. Suddenly, you are there in the crypt inside the young man. You feel the sensation of escape, the fear of being captured and having to run. Then the intense feeling of revenge...it occupies every inch of your mind. The images then ended and began to replay....until the mind you were probing detected you. Suddenly you were fighting off something attempting to read your mind... and then what you can only describe as an attempt at possession, as your soul was floating above your body watching as a horrid black shape covered you. It broke when Subdolus pulled off your crown, and you could return to your body.
A horrifying ordeal.
The group hears dragging noises in the room ahead of them (the one Ruinbottle went into) what would you like to do?

OOC: Sorry didn't catch up... otherwise occupied.
Sog says to the others "who has some good rope? Let's capture him as quickly and harmlessly as possible... he's a good fellow and doesn't deserve this."
We should make our way into the next room and surround him with intentions of capturing him.

You guys have plenty of rope between you. What order do you want to enter in?

Subdolus recommends that the fighters go first followed by the Wizard and Clerics. This way they should be able to cast either slow or hold spells on him without causing to much threat to the casters. He will of course be glad to protect the casters from anything else that may come their way.
