OOC: Tiberious will take two sips from his potion of extra-healing and save one sip for later. He will also suggest that he or Subdolus stay with Fletcher (hiding of course) in case he needs help while the others track down and kill the remaining bugbears.
Tiberious will head with the main group if everyone wants to leave Fletcher alone.

Subdolus volunteers to stay behind and keep an eye on the door. Heck if he gets lucky nothing will be coming out anyway.

The group then splits, Fletcher and Subdolus take up positions to surprise anything that might come out the door, while the rest head down the hall toward the frost giant king thrown room.
Tiberious goes first, and finds another firing tube (FRT 11) 20 feet down. Once you reach the doors you push in ( at this point you've been traveling 2 rounds since the split) the monk invisible, followed by the fighters and cleric. Across from you is the large thrown and piled upon it the bags of treasure spilling out onto the floor. In a panic you see 2 bugbears in plate feeling around the back wall for the secret passage you had already found (it seems they suspect it is here but aren't sure of its exact location). Behind the thrown is their fat leader now in plate aiming a crossbow at the door (but he fails to win surprise).
Popping in from invisibility behind Calhagan is the skinny bugbear subchief you saw earlier. He swings a strange ruin covered long sword (glowing a sickly pink) and dagger. The long sword sinks in deep just below Cal's heart for 19 pts damage, luckily you manage to save vs. death poison (save 14). The dagger slides off your armor. A second attack of surprise fails to land a blow against Cal (surprise is over).
Initiative: Monsters 1 group 3. You go first (you do notice a strange vile on the end of the bolt being prepared to fire at the group, you also notice the 2 bugbear that had been searching for the secret door are preparing to charge you.
______________________________________________________________________
Meanwhile, Subdolus and Fletcher wait by the door, when suddenly their is a loud thud against it, blood starts pooring threw the crack, seconds later the door smashes open, 2 bugbear covered in blood (one missing its arm) with eyes wide open run in your direction oblivious to you, behind them something big is following, from the limited view (blocked by the bugbears retreating) you see a worm like creature with a huge eye and a leg sticking out of its mouth chewing and swallowing it down.
It seems its following these retreating combatants, what do you wish to do (run, fight, hide, etc.).

Tiberious will stand in the way of the bugbear with the cross bow with the vile on it (the Chief) and throw both of his magic handaxes of returning. Tiberious is placing himself in this position so if the Chief fires the bolt Tiberious will attemp to catch the bolt with the vile on it!
(Axe---since Tiberious is popping out of invisibility did he gain any surprise rounds on the bugbears?) If so , he will continue with the above plan but continue to throw his weapons at the Chief. TIberious is trying to stay far enough away that he would have a round before the CHief could get to him.)

OOC: Good question. No, the invisible bugbear thief (subchief) already new the fighters were coming and gave warning.
One of the Monks magical axes hits inflicting 6 pts damage on the fat eyed leader. What do the rest of you want to do (fire at the leader, attack the subchief, or attack the charging bugbears (or some other action)?

"...you also notice the 2 bugbear that had been searching for the secret door are preparing to charge you..."
Zargon meets the closest one and attacks with the magic sword.

Group A: Cal swings at the skinny bugbear but incredibly misses rolling a 2! Ermanaric does better and hits for 8.
Zargon charges the approaching bugbear and meet in the center of the room, a broad swing slices threw ones heavy plate armor cutting open its stomach inflicting 11 pts damage (but it still stands).
Sogathan I'll assume attacks the subchief with his magical staff. The wide eyed cleric swings while giving the command causing his staff to turn into a powerful constrictor snake, it hits and wraps around the bugbear completely pinning him (the bugbear falls to the ground).
Tiberious waits till the chief fires the crossbow and easily cetches it mid air (rolling a 19). A quick glance down reveals a unique blue glass container similar to those you found in the forest witches lair).
Meanwhile Fletcher and Subdolus both move back toward the kennel area and hide, the bugbears run past you and sprint away toward the location of the frost giant kings chamber (where the rest of your party is now). Seconds later moving rapidly behind the bugbears you see a hideous site, a giant maggoty worm body (very long indeed) moving quickly along the ceiling following its prey; its underside is covered with sickly redish-purple saucer-sized suction cups used for locamotion. As it moves it flails about 6 long blade-like arms near its head sporting a single huge eye! The eye briefly looks toward your hidden location but either doesn't notice or ignores you continueing to follow the fleeing bugbear. As the tail end of worm passes you a grunt and scream is heard from the front of the monster now down the hall (you strongly suspect one of the bugbears just got finished off).
Monster counter: The chiefs bolt with potion attached was caught mid air, so the chief jumps behind the kings thrown and out of site. The 2 bugbear on Zargon attack, one hits with a 2 handed sword doing 8 pts damage.
Initiative: Monsters 2 group 4.
Zargon double attacks and finishes off the one he already hit with a massive strike. Ermanaric and Calhagan run at the remaining bugbear and cut him down into pieces. The king still is hidden behind the thrown and is out of site. From behind the group a screaming is heard coming your way, it sounds like bugbear. What does Sog and TIberious wish to do (finish off the held subchief, go after the chief, turn to face the new threat coming, hide, or something else?
Fletcher and Subdolus can now act, you could go into the room the beast just left (the giantess kitchen), or perhaps you could follow the worm creature until able to attack.

Subdolus takes only a quick look at the kitchen. If it looks clear he will leave Fletcher to his investigating and start off behind the newly encounter "eye" creature. He will wait to attack until the creature encounters the rest of the party, unless of course it notices him before that.

Calhagn suggests to Ermanaric that they each approach the boogerbear king from opposite sides of the throne.

Tiberious will uise his cloak to blend in with the wall, waiting to see what the screaming is all about. He will also hold the vial from the bolt in his hand.

Subdolus peeks into the giantess kitchen and sees more body parts...dropping his jaw at the sheer level of carnage and blood...one body near the door is now cut in half its upper portion reaches out for help as it gurgles something with wild pleading eyes. The half elf holds back his emotions and continues on running to cetch up to the worm beast (remember the beast is now crawling on the ceiling and out of melee range, next round you can attempt to back attack).
In the mean time Fletcher moves in to check ithe room out alone.
OOC: Mistere check out your PMs we'll need to do this in secret (since your solo).
The 2 fighters check out the back of the giant thrown only to find the bugbear chief gone! You do hear some scrapes along the back wall (as if he's still searching for the secret way out). How do you wish to pin point his location to attack?
Tiberious doesn't have to hide long, within 30 seconds a bugbear with one arm cut off and covered in blood comes hurling into the room screaming; he doesn't make it 10 feet in before 6 razor sharp blade like arms the size of swords explode threw his body, cutting and ripping him into pieces, a moment later and the owner of those arms a huge 1 eyed worm, drops from the ceiling and starts eating his prey, while watching Sogathan and Zargon its next meals).
Tiberious wins 2 segments of surprise. Once Tiberious goes I'll role normal initiative.
Does Tiberious wish to attack (if so with what) or does he continue hiding? What about Sog and the rest of the group? Subdolus you'll cetch up next round for an attempt to backstab.
