The goblins are held fast by the spell, unfortunately, so are Darien and Clyde. I think you are the only one standing, Finrod. EDIT: And might I add... SAVE US!

I'm sure at least SKA's PC is up, this is what he posted when he cleared the passage: "Darian will attempt to quickly move behind a tree or rock and wait for the goblins to run past him, at which point he will try to back stab with longsword and dagger any goblins he can. "
Of course, he might opt to loot the bodies. :-)

OOC: Axe, mate, I think you've entangled Darian.

Just reread Masters post, your right.
Finrod first runs over and applies first aid ASAP to those still bleeding out (2?) grab Gorthaks spear and then as quickly as possible returns to 4 entangled goblins. He will attempt to kill them while they are pinned by any means possible.
OOC: Entangle lasts 10 rounds. I want to spend 2-3 rounds (1 person per round) applying first aid and the remaining 7-8 killing the held goblins with my daggers, or if they're in range Gorthakhs spear. If you can't auto kill a goblin with a ranged weapon I'll use oil (but only if there is no chance of burning Darian or the merc). If I kill all the goblins before the end of the diration of the spell, I'll quickly start pulling the bodies of my comrads (and dog) into some thick brush to try and hide their bodies from anyone that might be passing by.

The dog is still in the goblin cave. You just need to heal gorthack and gerto. Krago is out , but already stablized. What do you plan to do if more goblins show up?

The dog may be a loss then. I'll heal Gorthack and Gerto as quickly as possible to prevent them from dieing; I'll then book it back to the goblins being held and attempt to kill them with Gorthacks spear (if there in range) or with daggers if not (assuming you can auto kill a held victim, if not I'll torch them with oil).
If more goblins show up, I'll attempt to go back into the brush and hide. If they cluster I'll cast another entangle on them.
Once the spell breaks (10 rounds) Darian and the merc can assist me in carrying these guys out of here.

Finrod manages to patch up gerto and Gorthak. Before he can do anything else, he notices three goblins coming out of the other cave entrance. They are about 90 feet away, and there is little plant life where they are standing, so you can't entangle them now. They don't seem to notice Finrod, instead they are staring at the moving trees and plantlife, trying to make sense of it.

This is not looking good. I'm going to try to get them to follow me into some woods and then cast entangle, but this is how:
First, I take any oil and money purses off the PCs bodies. I will then move as quickly as possible (while attempting not to be noticed) to an area were an entangle would work (more trees perhaps). Once there I find an area between 2 trees and quickly dump (breaking them if need be to speed it up) 3 or 4 flasks of oil on the ground spreading it as wide an area as possible, but not so thin that it wouldn't do severe damage (setting a trap of sorts). I also light 2 torches and stake one in the ground on the opposite side of the trees (from their direction)
I then book it back to the tree line (hidden) and yell toward the goblins in goblin "you 3 idiots stop standing around and get over here quickly, they're gettin away!" waving the torch but keeping the rest of me hidden. I push the torch into the ground, as a kind of marker, and then start back toward the tree dropping shiney coins as I go, making a trail with Gorthakhs gold and silver into the woods (hopefully they'll fight each other to grab at it and thus not break up or use tactics) . I leave Gorthakhs purse with whats remaining spilt out in a pile 30 feet into the woods with the trail of coin leading to it. (hopefully they'll take the bait and cluster here). Once they are all in range of the spell I cast it.
If any get through the entangle I grab the remaining torch and heckle from between the trees. Once they cross through the trap I toss the torch on the oil and hopefully torch'm. If they avoid the trap I move through it until they follow me through it and torch'em. If this doesn't work I keep running if possible. If not I turn and fight.
Oh, if they spot me running to the trees, I'll skip the traps and just entangle when there in range and close to some trees or thick brush.
If I see any wild animals along the way, and they seem like they could fight these goblins I will cast speak with animals and tell them the goblins are holding their animal friends and family captive and to save them they must be kill the goblins. I also promise to bring them a great mate if they help me.
If none of this works I keep to the woods and start heading out, if in chase I go with great speed back toward the rim of the overlook.

Darian knows the spell will eventually wear off, he will get ready to act as soon as the entangle stops.
As he was armed with longsword and dagger when entangled, he hopes to (perhaps) get the jump on the situation when the spell ends.

Finrod finds another thick grove of trees 25ft away to set up the trap. The goblins see the trial of coins, but do not follow it into the brush, instead observing from about 20 feet. They nock an arrow into thier bows and peer into the bush looking for a target.

In his best Goblin voice, speaking goblin, Finrod says. "Get in here you dogs this ones hiding, quick before he escapes"!!! I'll wait and see if they take this bait. While I wait I'll find a long stick (perhaps a dead branch or a cut sapling) and stick my cloak on the end of it and move it around as a target (so that they might take a pot shot at it, thinking it me as I intend only a portion of it to show) I will stay hidden behind a tree as much as possible so that I don't get hit. If they shoot at this target I'll make a noise like "Uhhhggg" and drop the stick, perhaps fooling them that I have been hit and am no longer a threat. That trail of gold has to look pretty dammed good.

The Goblins let lose a volley of arrows, but finrods is safe behind his tree. They begin to move into the woods, with thier bows still pointed forwards.

Finrod stays as hidden behind the trees and brush (and quiet while casting) as possible and casts entangle on the goblins (hopefully all are in area of effect). If any manage to get through after I cast, I prepare to capture them in my oil trap lighting it as they pass threw the 2 trees. If they don't head for the trap, I'll wave my cloak between them while keeping a tree between me and their arrows.

Fin rod begins to chant his entangle spell, but is hit with by an arrow. Fin rod takes 6 points of damage, disabling him. The goblins then begin to search the area and pick up the coins dropped. Meanwhile, Darian can feel that entangle spell is beginning to wear off
