Subdolus moves to the monks side and attacks the one eyed creature, cutting one tendral off with is magical scimitar and sinking his dagger deep into the bublous fleshy side (for a total of 9 damage). Zargon moves in to protect the princess from the fish-men this round attacking twice he slices anothers arm and leg off in a furry of blows. Sogathan throws his staff toward another which is entangled and squeezed for 4 pts. Ermanaric charges at the fish men pushing one back into the river, while running another threw with his magical blade causing the fish to drop back into the water dead.
Initiative, Monsters 5, group 2. The one eyed monster shoots straight up and attempts to flee! The monk hits with both axes for 13 pts. and Subdolus hits with his dagger for 5. Despite the damage the creature moves quickly away into the darkness behind the other side of the pyramid.
The surviving fish men push on with the attack but fail to hit with their weapons One hurls its barbed spear at tiberious which the monk blocks successfully with a raised arm.
The 2 fish men below the water dragging the 2 fighters are joined by 2 fresh fish men (slightly larger then the others) they assist in dragging the prisoners into a tunnel 5x5 leading directly into the pyramid of ice, 10 feet below the surface. THis round Fletcher manages to cut himself free with his incredibley sharp short sword, as he turns to face the exit (having run out of breath) he sees a block of ice drop from the ceiling blocking retreat in that direction. Calhagan having no problem with breathing attempts to cut himself free as well but fails to do so. The 2 creatures that had been pulling Fletcher turn to attack him, while Calhagan is pulled further down the passage out of site. Fletcher must either descide if he wishes to attempt to cut threw the block of ice that blocks the exit to get air, or fight the 2 fish men moving toward him.
Topside the remaining fish men jump into the water and flee once they see their master flee! They make loud croaks in their departure (Zargon hits one before it escapes but fails to kill it). These fish move rapidly away from the temple and toward a large cave entrance on the floor of the river (perhaps leading to some other location). The princess moves up a few steps and the dwarf jumps into the boat, incase the fish attempt to steal it.
Tiberious, Subdolus and ERmanaric can go. They realize 2 of their companions have been pulled under and haven't returned.

Tiberious will ask a cleric to heal him while he quickly will try to ask another fish (hopefully some were attracted by all the blood in the water) to take him where the fishmen take their captors. Tiberious will promise food for any such scouting work.
Tiberious will also emptu out his water skin and fill it with air to take with im if the fish can tell/show him where the fish people went.

Sog heals the monk for 7 pts but Tiberious dare not wait any longer to heal more. Jumping into the freezing water could cause shock but with Tiberious's ring its nothing at all. After calling out a bit for help, a school of small pinky sized bait fish come to the surface and offer to show the monk where the "nasty horrid men fish took their friends...follow me they insist!". Diving deeper (holding on to a sack full of air) Tiberious follows the fish about 12 feet straight down to an entrance leading into the pyramid. After moving in 10 feet he finds its been blocked with a wall of ice. Studying the block he sees it dropped from a slit in the ceiling and that it is likey strong by the looks of it a foot thick. Peering through he can see the glow of something on the other side growing fainter.
BTW, the pyramid of ice continues down to the river floor a total of 30 feet deep. Also, just below the surface Tiberious notes the Pyramid is no longer carved, but is rather natural looking like a block of rough ice conical in shape.

Cal's plan is to try and cut himself free. Although his daggers are not magical, the fighter, being entangled and underwater, may have better luck using one of daggers to cut free.
OOC: Axe, if you do a fast forward to speed things up, this is what Cal would attempt: If he successfully frees himself, he will attempt to subdue one of the fish faces, and with a dagger to its throat, bring it to the block of ice barring his escape. Hopefully, the fish face will get the message.

To keep things moving I'm going to act for Mistere and Sub (whom I'm pretty sure would want to go with Tiberius). Tiberious begins smashing into the ice with fists of furry, but has no luck in creating more then just a few minor cracks. Subdolus also has no luck with his magical blade. All of the sudden the 2 see the metal tip of a sword push threw and cut a whole out of the sheet of ice. Fletcher begins to pull himself threw completely out of breath (short sword of sharpness in hand) while 2 fish men are hot on his tail. The ranger has begun to drawn and takes 11 pts. damage. TIberious gives the ranger some of his air while Subdolus engages the fish men. Initiative: 5,5 simo. THe fish men attack with spears doing 6 pts damage to the half elf. Once again Subdolus shakes off the effects of their poisoned tips. The thief hits one with a skimitar for 5 pts. Fletcher must to go to the surface to get enough air to breath and recover from almost drawining, while the others top side load the boat back and prepare to offer help.
Now the Fletcher is safe, do the monk and thief want to push on to help Cal (keeping the preasure up) or do they go back to the surface?
Cal, check your PMs to see what happens next (since the rest of the groups not with you).

Fletcher will use his diamond eye to create an advanced phantasmal force. He will create the image of a large octopus swiming up from the deep. The octopus will swim in between him and the fishmen and attack. While the fishmen are busy, he will cut throgh the ice block.

Oh, well never mind, i guess i escaped after all. As fletcher is getting his breath back, he will fill up one of his waterskins with air, and when he is ready, will return to the pyramid and try to help his compatriots.
Did we heal up from our previous encounter?

OOC: thats OK mistere, I'd rather do what you suggested instead. You still take 6 pts damage from drowning (but the time your down here is reduced) the octopus illusion works on both (saves 14, 11) who become entangeld in the powerful tentacles of the illusionary beast. They stand still and begin taking damage as they are crushed and biten by its beak like mouth. When you cut yourself out you see Tiberious and Subdolus who help pull you threw your hole. Tiberious gives you enough air to make it to the surface where you cough for about a round before taking a deep breath and heading back down (with a sack full of air).
When you return to the underwater passage you see the fish men dead and the illusion gone (you had to break your concentration) The thief and monk are already heading down the tunnel after Calhagn (20 feet ahead of you, not being able to wait holding their breaths) before loosing site of the magicial swords and axe they carry. After swiming the length you find the underwater passage ends in a air filled 20 foot square chamber 30 feet high. Standing in the middle of this chamber is a large demon or devil (about 10 feet tall) with huge eyes holding a nasty looking white pitchfork. It is covered in a layer of ice a foot thick and seems to radiate cold. THe temp. in this chamber is infact -10 degrees and the ice is very hard. Standing in front of the frozen denzien is what must be a female fish man (this one being crimson red with black spots covering it). She waves her hand and chants in croaks and whistles. 2 older very mean looking male fishmen stand on either side of a large ice alter carved with the images of fish heads and fins. As you watch the more she chants the more the demon glows green the more animated it appears to be *you could sware its eyes moved*, and a great fear seems to rush over you as if it is awakening. You also seem to see very small cracks in the ice appearing near its chest. You think whatever you do you must hurry!
Also in this room are 3 ice doors all closed (reminding you of prison cells). The three of you are in an opening 4x4 wide with a lip of ice 1 foot thick you'll need to pull yourself up to land. Just as you consider climbing out the 2 fishmen that captured Calhagan jump out and attempt to surprise, but fail to do so. Initiative: 3 monsters, group 1. The 2 fish men stab with spears, one hits Subdolus for 6 pts, and this time he fails his save. A strange paralysis over takes him as a barb sinks deep into his flesh. He's just barely able to crawl out of the water moving very stiffly. The other spear misses Fletcher.
Counter attack, what do you wish to do. Fletcher, your illusions are used up for the day, you can however attempt to climb out of the water and attack with your sword (or do any other action). The chanting female sheman and her assistants notice you and she begins chanting faster (they are 15 feet away, and on the other side of the fishmen facing you).

Oh, also the dwarf and Ermanaric still suffer from the poisons effects, and are only able to see in a blurred dim way. They could go underwater and try to help, but it would be very risky and difficult to find the entrance for them.

You check and find your bow gone, you think the strap holding it on your back likely broke during your capture and struggle. You charge forward but must get past the fishmen. You role a 19!!! and behead the first one in your way, you then start moving at speed toward the female. What about Sub and Tiberious?

If Subdolus is still holding his scimitar he concentrates on its healing ability as his paralysis will permit nothing else.
