Tiberious spends some time attempting to locate and call to the familiar forest birds that populate this wood.
Oddly, no animals seem to be around (or at least non come to your call). Infact, you don't seem to hear any of the normal insect noises either, only a slight russle of leaves in the trees high above, a wind driven by grey storm clouds moving threw.......it may rain tonight, you think.
So to the village? Or something else.

Tiberious warns the group of the unusual lack of animal activity, turns invisible, and suggest the group head quickly back to town.

The group starts moving quickly down the trail toward the village (I'm going to assume the stoned bodies are stowed in Tiberious and Subdolus's bags of holding for safer keeping, I'm also assuming the group is staying fairly close together). About halfway back to the village (in a forested area), you notice the trees and bushes form a thick wall infront of you...you don't remember this. Within this canopy, it seems your already nearing nightfall. A horrid stench can be smelt up ahead as the wind picks up and blows in your direction. Before you can discuss what to do next, Sudden movement is seen out your eyes from ahead. The bushes and trees seem to be moving toward you as if walking. From behind you and to the sides you hear twigs and branches snapping. Appearing from the treeline are 6 sets of red wicked eyes, animal but intellegent. The eyes are mesmorizing (all must save vs. Petrification). Ermanaric, Subdolus and TIberious are unable to move as the creatures rush in at them (while the others are able to fight off the urge to sit and stare). Tiberious is invisible so isn't under direct attack. Ermanaric is raked and picked up and squeezed for a total of 21 pts damage and begins to be carried off, while Subdolus is hit and squeezed for 18 pts before being thrown down. The rest of the group is not surprised. Initiative: monster 4 group 1. The standing ape men give off a stench and sense of extreme fear (if you were lower you'd need to save against). Evil cunning intellegence is seen out of their eyes as they charge in. Sog is hit for 5, and Ermanaric takes another 10 pts damage. The tree line moves rather quickly as roots explode from underground grabbing at the legs and feet of the group. All keep their footing save Sogathan, who seems to be held by roots as if from an entangle spell, but the roots begin to lift him up into the air and draw him in toward the wall of woods heading your way. What does the group wish to do?

Ermanaric is raked and picked up and squeezed for a total of 21 pts damage and begins to be carried off Is it possbile for him to make an attack? OOC My records show me that I have 21 HP remaining, is this correct?

Yes, and you'll have to break free first (BBLG). You role an 11% and manage to break free. Landing on the ground with your feet your suddenly being grabbed at by roots tearing out of the ground. You role a 13 and save and avoid being entangled this round (though the trees are coming toward the group quickly) You swing with your magical blade removing the bottom half of the Yeti's arm and opening a huge gash in its side (inflicting 14 pts damage). However, the Yeti/bigfoot still continues to attack insanely.
Sogathan attempts to break free but cannot (and is dragged further toward the trees, if he's not helped in a round he may disappear behind them). Sogathan commands his staff to attack the bigfoot nearest him, which it manages to entwine around. The thick snake lashes around the hairy man apes neck and begins to squeeze.

Zargon wades in, chopping repeatedly at the yeti.
OOC: Hoping the sword's MR helps him avoid too much unpleasantness.

Zargon hits and cuts a deep gash across the chest of the one on him. However, the beast still stands.
Does anyone wish to attempt to rescue Sog (this would make you prone to attacks from the Yeti on you. Presently Subdolus, Zargon, Sogathan, each have one on them (Sogs is being choked out) while Ermanaric has 2 and one is searching around where Tiberious is.

Can Tiberious act yet?

No, not for 2 more rounds (unless your found and attacked by the yeti, which IMO breaks the Yeti's daze effect, thats why Sub and Erm can act now while you can't).
I'm going to assume Subdolus and Ermanaric stick to the yeti on them (as both are in pretty bad shape).
Subdolus landed badly (rolling a 1) and it takes the rest of this round to recover his sword and dagger which flew from his hands.
So thats everyone (Cadellin and Cal are stone) and I forgot, Erm already went.
Initiative: Group 1 monsters 4.
The two yeti on Ermaniric hit (18, 16) and inflict 9 pts damage together. Zargon's scrapes against his armor as the fighter holds his ground. Subdolus jumping clear of the entangle area is hit for 4 by the yeti on him who persues the nimble thief. Tiberious is found by the yeti nearest him(perhaps by smell) and takes 11 pts damage from a horrendous attack of ripping, biting and rending!!! The creature drops you *you fight free), so you can counter attk.
Sogathan is passed back threw the walking canopy so that you can no longer see him. Screams can be heard...and you hear a sinister laughter....a females cackle....it doesn't sound good.
Your counter:
Sog is trying to do something, but you can't see what. Sogs snake does 9 pts damage to the yeti it is strangling. Tiberious your still invisible, and the yeti is prone (back to you as it grovels about for its prey).

While still invisible Tiberious will fly with his dagger, drink one sip of his potion of extra-healing, and see if he can spot where the laughter like cackling is coming from.

Tiberious snaps out of it, and grabbing his dagger takes off. After clearing the shaking tree tops he drinks a healing sip for 7 pts. From above he can see a giantess of some sort....a disgusting hag thin with long lanky arms with stragly silver hair and long purplish teeth. She smiles wickidly at Sogathan turning her head studying him. She begins stuffing the entwined cleric into a large sack. Tiberious sees the giant hag stepping backward toward a low area with a 10 foot deep ravine with a sluggish muddy stream running threw it. It seems the hag is preparing to flee.
Zargon swings twice this round cutting two huge gashes threw the yeti on him, disembowling it. Ermanaric likewise decapitates one of the Yeti on him. Zargon also sees that his magical sword prevents the entwining roots from grabbing him. Infact, the moving trees seem to stay back from him, a good thing since they are about to overrun his position.
Subdolus spins around and slices at the hairy man on him. He misses with his dagger but slices threws the beats thigh with his skimitar doing 10 pts damage.
Initiative: group 2 monsters 1.
Ermanaric swings and hits the other yeti on him doing 14 pts damage as he runs it threw. Zargon sees the yeti that had been on Tiberious move to attack him. He swings and brings his sword down on to its head, splitting it wide open. Still the beast attacks.
Subdolus attacks and hits the big foot twice causing blood to spray from its throat. The creature runs off into the woods before dropping...
What action does Tiberious wish to take? He can see the hag begining to step down into the ravine, perhaps to make its escape with its prize.

Tiberious, will stay up in the air out of reach and begin to throw both of his magical handaxes, hoping to gain a few surprise rounds to destroy the hag! (Axe---remember the monk will be popping out of invisibility for surprise purposes)

Tiberious throws his handaxes, but it appears the hag is aware of you (perhaps detect invisibility is in use). In any event, she dodges the first axe, but the second hits with a 20 cutting off her ear! The hag scowls at Tiberious, but instead of attacking you, turns to run down the ravine thew a tunnel of trees (the ravine heads toward a thicker part of the forest down hill from your present location, toward a swampy area).
If Tiberious wants to continue attacking with his axes he'll have to go alone, the others are too far back and slow (and still engaged in combat).
The remaining yeti flee as the trees approach. Although the entangling effect doesn't seem to effect Zargon (protected by his sword) at the center of the cluster is what appears to be an evil ettin. A massive branch hits the fighter for 12 pts damage.
Ermanaric is attacked by a smaller tree but blocks its flailing branch with his shield. Subdolus is out of the area (20 feet to the side) and can skirt around the back of the trees if he wishes to see what happened to Sogathan. Or if he wishes he could attack the treant (or something else).

Axe----did the hag leave behind the bag with Sogothan in it?
Could you describe the tacticval situation as seen by the flying monk as he looks around?
